North Highline Fire District
North Highline Fire District is overseen by a three-person civilian board elected by the citizens of the fire district.
The purpose of the board is to provide fire protection services as set forth in RCW 52.14 by:
Board of Fire Commissioners
Liz Giba was elected on November 8, 2011 to complete the unexpired term of Position No. 1. She took office immediately and served her first six-year term and was then re-elected in 2017. Commissioner Giba will continue to serve until December 31, 2023.
Julie Hiatt was elected on November 5, 2013 to complete the unexpired term of Position No. 2. She took office on December 16, 2013 and served her first six-year term. Commissioner Hiatt was re-elected in 2019 will continue to serve until December 31, 2025.
Dominic Barrera was elected to Position No. 3 on the November 2015 ballot. Dominic is active in many commuity organizations. His term will end on December 31, 2021.
Regular board meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at our headquarters station located at 1243 SW 112th Street, Seattle, WA.
