North Highline Fire District is a combinanion department made up of career and volunteer firefighters. Volunteers are trained for both aid and fire responses, they are involved in many community activities, and they participate in numerous public education events.
Volunteers typically sleep overnight at the station once every nine nights, they respond from home to emergency calls as needed, and they attend a mandatory drill every Wednesday evening.
North Highline Fire District is not currently accepting applications for the position of volunteer firefighter. However if you would like to complete/submit the online form, we will contact you when we hold our next recruitment. You will be notified by email when to attend a mandatory orientation meeting where you will learn more about our program. Applications will be given out at the orientation to those willing to make the commitment.
